How Committed Should You Be to Your Customer’s Success?

How Committed Should You Be to Your Customer’s Success?

I’m always asked by my clients and those who call into my podcast, “How can I make sure my clients succeed?” And, the answer is rather simple: just do what you do best.

When you invest you’re all into your business and you provide a product or service that is your strong suit, your customers will naturally be successful. Why? Because you’ve taken the time to craft a winning solution for their problems. Studying what your customer needs, who they are, and how to best help them will give you the insight you need to create products and services that will get the job done.

But, when you copy others or try to offer services that are not your core competency, then you’ll always wonder if you are doing the right thing for your customers. No one likes a fraud — so stick to what you know and commit yourself to doing it very well.

If you’re not sure if you’re servicing your clients the right way or if you’re looking for ways to improve your offering, a business coach can help. The great thing about using an experienced business coach is that they can bring in decades of expertise, with a fresh set of eyes to look at how your business operates. They can provide recommendations on how you can improve, often pinpointing things that are holding you back that you may not have been able to see. Having an objective view of your business by someone who isn’t immersed in your business can be an effective way to find strategies to revamp what you’re offering to be better aligned with what your customers really want and need.
