16 May Three Productivity Tools for 2019
I’m all about multi-tasking and making the most out of the limited time I do have. That’s why these three productivity tools have been business changing for me. And when you implement even just one of these tools this year, you’ll notice a measurable difference in how fast you work, how much you can get done, and how much more focused you can be.
Tool #1 – Captio
You can grab this one in the App Store for just $1.99, but it packs a big punch! With this app, you can dictate whatever you want and have it turned into typed notes within minutes. I use this often when I’m on-the-go and need to send a quick message to my team. I open up the app, talk into it, and get an email with the written transcript in a few minutes. I can then send that transcript to my teams without missing a beat – or needing to open my laptop. As business owners, your thoughts are going a thousand miles a minute, so you want to get as much out of your head and down on paper as possible – and this app is the one to do it!
Tool #2 – Copy Talk
If you need more detailed dictation, especially when drafting emails, Copy Talk is a must-use. You just call a number, type in your 4-digit pin and you can record up to 4 minutes of dictation. But, you can include how to format the text because the dictation is done by a live person. This is great if you need to send an email with bullet points, or want specific lines of text highlighted or bolded. The sky’s the limit in terms of what you can dictate using Copy Talk. It’s not as cheap as an app, but at just $79 a month it is a great tool to add, so you can still get lots done on the move.
Tool #3 – Amazon App
There’s nothing worse than having to stop working to run an errand or pick up something from the store. It is these energy and production interrupters that can sideline your progress. That’s why my Amazon App is probably my most used app on my phone. With some areas offering same-day delivery, you can get what you need, when you need it, with just a few clicks. If you haven’t already, upgrading to Prime is great to ensure you get the best savings and fastest delivery possible.
